CASA of Travis County

CASA of Travis County makes recommendations to the court in the best interest of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. We accomplish this with the help of community volunteers who have been sworn-in by a judge. Our CASA volunteers are trained and committed adults who stand by the children’s side, watch over their case and ensure that they remain a priority in an overburdened legal and social service system. CASA volunteers are often the only constant and caring presence involved from beginning to end during a child’s case.
