Fundraiser for Charles Bound
Dear Friend, We are looking for any type of donations for door prizes for a fundraiser we are planning for August 28, 2010. The name of the person we are having the fundraiser for is Charles Bound. Charles is a 39-year-old man. In late October of 2009 at the age of 38 he began having severe headaches, confusion, loss of vision and memory loss. His concerned wife Crystal rushed him to the emergency room. At that time after many tests and x-rays Charles was diagnosed with Benign Neoplasm of the Pituitary Gland and Crabiopharyngel Duct. It was determined that he needed to have surgery immediately. In, November he had to endure four major brain surgeries in less than one month. He did not leave the hospital for several months. Charles has had many set backs in his recovery. Including blood clots in both of his legs from the waist down. A problem that he is still battling to date. Charles has not been able to return to work since the day he was rushed to the emergency room. With Charles not being able to work this has caused a tremendous financial hardship. The Bound family has been struggling from week to week to cover their daily living expenses. He currently has to endure psychical therapy three times a week for four hours a day. There is a chance that more therapy will be added in the future. Charles is a loving husband and father. And a true hero and inspiration to his four loving children Venus, Britney, Dakota and Charles Jr. Charles was a skilled electrician for over 18 years. He was always the first one there to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. Most recently, due to overwhelming medical bills and loss of income. Charles and his wife Crystal lost their home. Charles like so many of us worked hard to provide a home for his family. He was always a hard working husband and father. Charles and his family were recently was told by his doctor that he will never be able to return to work again. The loss of his home has caused a major set back in Charles’ recovery. This has caused him a great deal of depression and added stress. As Chucks team it is our goal to try and help Charles and his family in their time of need. We are asking you to join us in our fight to support Chuck and his family. Our fundraiser will be a dinner raffle. It is being held at Rival’s Sports Bar and Grille. On August 28th. From 5pm to 8pm. Rival’s is located at 6710 Smith Rd. in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. The tickets are being sold for $25 per person. This will include all you can eat pizza, wings salad and more. Draft beer will also be included in the price of the ticket. Well drinks will be available for the discounted price of $2.50 each. This ticket also includes your chance to win one of many door prizes that will be given away during the evening. A grand prize of cash will be awarded at the end of the evening. That prize will be determined by total ticket sales. There will be a Chinese raffle, silent auction and a 50/50 drawing as well. As stated above we are looking for any donations for door prizes, items for the Chinese raffle or the silent auction. During the distribution to the winners we will announce the gift, where it is from, the value and will urge our attendees to patronize your business. Please include as much information and/or business cards as you wish. We will appreciate and accept any gift or donation you can give. It is our hope to raise enough money to help Charles and his family to cover some of their daily living expenses. We are calling ourselves Chuck’s Team. Because as a team we can help Charles with his fight to recovery! We will be there to help him face many of the obstacles that he is struggling with.
